Serene Gem Gallery began as a small dream in 2011, sparked by two friends — S.P.R. Karunarathne and W.U.P. De Alwis — who shared a deep love and respect for Sri Lanka’s gemstone heritage. From humble beginnings in Ratnapura, the legendary gem capital of Sri Lanka, we have grown into a globally trusted source for authentic, certified Ceylon gemstones, admired by collectors, travelers, and jewelry lovers worldwide.
